Great results from South Coast 7s with the U15s girls runners up and the senior girls also. Jess Crane was awarded player of the finals in the junior girls comp. Boys also did well and thanks for pulling on the Falcons jerseys!
Thanks to ACT Brumbies for a great weekend.
Onwards we go to Girls Rugby 10s!
Come and try day on Thursday 8 March 6.00pm Tathra Beach Country Club
Congratulations to Jorja Moore one of our 2017 U15s Falcons and her Flying Piglets team mates Rhianna & Kirra Burke and Tamika Millard - as well as Narooma's Lilly Bennett! Representing ACT at the Junior National 7s Tournament in Brisbane recently (9-10 Dec), the girls brought home Bronze.
This is a terrific result and all the girls played their hearts out. We are very proud of them all!
This is a result of hours and hours of training, hours of travel to Canberra (to train!) and pure dedication to Rugby!
Jorja, Rhianna, Kirra and Tamika have all trained with the Falcons throughout 2017 and the Flying Piglets is a merged team of Falcons and Jindabyne Bush Piglets - so we really are all part of one big happy family.
We are now waiting to hear about National Selection from this tournament and will keep you up to date on any decisions.
The Far South Coast Falcons Rugby Union Club was established in 2017 with the assistance of Jindabyne Rugby Union Club. In their inaugural year our two teams took home premiers and minor premiers in their age divisions. In 2018 they will again play 10s and are heading to at least three 7s comps in ACT and across Southern NSW.
A chance for girls from Batemans Bay to Eden and beyond to play Rugby Union around the region and in the ACT. Girls are encouraged to participate in school and representative Rugby also.
TOGETHER WE SOAR!
The Falcons focus on teamwork, fun, skill and fitness. The Falcons will soon be seeking players for 7s Season and also for the 2018 10s.
7s selection is highly competitive and vigorous training will start 4 January.
